It is finally time to start riding again! We took our first ride of the year on Feb. 29. It was a little chilly, and a short ride to Walton, but it felt so good to have the wind in our hair again!
Yesterday, St. Patty's Day, I spent 4 hours giving "Rosie" her first clean up of the year. Karl put her up for the season without even rinsing the worst of the bugs off of her; needless to say, the bike was a mess. After getting ourselves cleaned up we rode to Ned's Corner Pub for some Reuben sandwiches. We didn't stay for the band...IU was playing in the NCAA Tournament and we wanted to get home to see the end of the game. The weather was perfect! Cool, just enough to need my leathers, clear sky with lots of stars, very little traffic, and my hubby on the front. LOVE cruisin' on our country roads!
