New for 2015

Wow, its been a while since my last post, and much has happened. A couple of yrs. ago, while on vacation in Maine, I broke my left arm. After many months, painful PT, and lots of determination, I finally was able to use it again. It did affect my ability to continue to work on the 1912 Titanic project; as well as riding the bike. We still ride occasionally, but not as much as before.  Major trips are now via automobile.

I also quit smoking after more than 30 yrs. Consequently, I have had to have something in my hands at all times. Crocheting hurts my hands, as I almost entirely use fine threads. I began knitting again, to the surprise of my "'30 something daughters", who didn't know that I knew how. I'm hoping to put up pics of some of my creations...as soon as I find the camera that DH says he has no idea of where its at.

I am in the process of getting my sewing/cutting rooms organized again. I have lots of  'inventory' for making items for a "Street Event" that the local Motorcycle Shop is planning on putting on again this summer. Recoup from angioplasty last yr. stopped my plans for that event just as I got started. Planning on making patches, 'head gear', and possibly some ladies' tops....

Soooo....
I'm planning on starting my blog up again....the emphasis will be on sewing/knitting/ biking/trips/and possibly some politics....and comments about professional sports figures.....in particular...the NFL....
